Hello everyone and welcome to WebMarketingSoup.com!

My name is Chad Gingrich (no relation to Newt although it would have been nice haha) and I created this website for one simple reason: to share internet marketing knowledge without the bullshit.

I have been using computers ever since I can remember.  Everything about technology always seemed so natural to me and when I logged online for the first time I was amazed about what being connected with the planet would mean for the future of culture and business.

I am the “tech geek” amongst my friends and they are always coming to me for technical support or just to chat about the latest tech gadgets.  I am a huge Apple freak, I have an iPad, an iPhone, 4 iPods, 2 Mac computers, (and a partridge in an Apple tree)!  It’s true, I drink the kool-aid but it really is the culture that attracts me along with how easy their products make my life.

In my free time I also like to listen to and play music.  I had a brief touring stint as an acoustic singer/songwriter and at some point in my life I’d like to revisit that.  I’m also a huge Philly sports fan but maybe I shouldn’t tell some of you that!  (I’m looking at you Mets fans)  In general I just like helping people and having a good time, and if you’re down with that…we’ll get along just fine!

I have always been interested in how I could start an online business but I only became legitimately interested in internet marketing about 4 years ago when deciding on what career I should go into.  I saw the power in social media and combining my love for tech with a small aversion to marketing I stumbled upon this incredibly interesting and vast world of internet and video marketing.

I, like most people, initially got swallowed up by all of the marketing hype in countless internet marketing products available on the net and when I found my way I decided to help others succeed in internet marketing, so I created Web Marketing Soup. There’s a lot of nonsense out there and what I plan on talking about on this site is building a high quality website through SEO and Marketing and not a “get rich quick” scheme that is guaranteed to fail!

I am currently working on my free internet marketing training course so check back for that because it will be packed with tons of great information about internet marketing!
